First off, I would like to personally welcome you to my site. Thank you for taking the time to come check it out.
I began this site with one goal envisioned; to write what I am passionate about. While writing itself has always been a passion and hobby of mine, the force that drives my life and energy in all that I do is Jesus Christ and the undeniable love he showed in giving his life for me.
I suppose my deep levels of love and appreciation for what Christ did for me is what inspired me to actually start a website. I value Christ’s actions so much that I desire to show that love with everyone that I can. (If you have yet to understand this love I encourage you to go check out the Prayer of Salvation I have posted on my page.) After some prayer and consideration God impressed it upon my heart that I needed to turn my hobby of writing into an outlet. And so, that is exactly what I did.
It was at that point I began to construct Follow the Savior. I am sure you are probably wondering what the name really stands for. I believe it stands for what all Christians should strive to do. It represents the desire we should all have to model ourselves after Jesus; after all, he was the ultimate example of being a Christian. We should all attempt to Follow the Savior and bring glory to God in all that we do. It is my intention that through articles I write, discussions, links and guest posts that you the reader will be able to do this more effectively.
I encourage you to delve and see what you think about the site.
I know the site is still young and I am learning as I go. However, with the grace of God and the support of readers like you, I envision this site to one day be an online haven for like minded believers to read and be filled in their spiritual walks and escape the moral and spiritual dissention that abounds around us. Remember, above all else, I encourage you to Follow the Savior in all that you do.
